  3. Pandan leaves.
  4. Palm sugar.
  5. Coconut milk.

  1. Cut the top of the pumpkin open. We cut this in a square shape. Then remove the cut loose part.
  2. We are going to empty the inside of the pumpkin. You can use a fork. Or a spoon. Or a knife.We don’t want to leave the seeds inside the pumpkin.Because then the flavour will be bitter.
  3. Then the preparations are done and we will mix.
  4. Put the eggs The coconut milk And the palm sugar in a bowl.
  5. Then add the Pandan leaves. And knead this together. Until the palm sugar is dissolved. We do this together with the Pandan leaves. Because it will become more airy and the smell of the eggs will disappear.
  6. When the mixture is ready. We will pour it through a sieve. This way we take out the pandan leaves.
  7. Next fill the pumpkin with the mixture. Fill it as full as possible.Because the mixture will shrink.
  8. Cover the pumpkin with aluminium foil. This will make the custard solid. So no air holes.
  9. Then the pumpkin is ready to steam.
